Summer Session Registration is Open!

Girls Play Trumpets Too Girls Play Trumpets Too is a 6-week summer program that teaches girls ages 8–19 to play the trumpet while empowering them through cultural exchange, music history, classical and jazz instruction, trumpet mechanics, music business education, Swahili, and community engagement. As part of the summer experience, participants will enjoy a few culturally enriching and fun field trips that expand their learning beyond the classroom.

Our program exposes students to global musical traditions and diverse cultural perspectives, helping them connect music to identity, history, and community. Our instructors are professional musicians and educators who make learning fun, inspiring, and engaging while fostering confidence, creativity, leadership, and teamwork.

Register: June 3-19, 2026

Summer Session Starts: June 20 – July 31, 2026

Location: St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church, 7100 St. Charles Ave. New Orleans, LA 70118

Time: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Early Bird Registration Fee: $150 (June 3-14)

Registration Fee: $200 (June 15-19)
